Enjoy Stelvio Valtellina 2026 - Ascent of the Cancano Lakes

This summer, the legendary alpine passes of the Stelvio National Park and Valtellina remain free from motor traffic: an opportunity for cyclists to enjoy the mythical climbs in complete freedom.

Great climbs and no smog on the passes

The selected weekends for the closure to motor traffic coincide with some major events that traditionally attract cycling enthusiasts.

Now in its 9th edition, it was created with the aim of enhancing the great alpine passes, offering visitors the chance to enjoy the legendary cycling ascents in absolute freedom.

The event is free and open to everyone - there are no registrations and it is not a competition

• Passo Gavia: Friday, June 5

• Passo dello Spluga: Sunday, June 28
  Road closed from 8.00 am to 2.00 pm from Campodolcino, in Valchiavenna (SO) and from Splügen (CH)
