• 7:00 PM | Parade of the Bormio Philharmonic, accompanied by the young athletes from the ski clubs and sports groups (parade starts: piazzetta S. Vitale and along via Roma to piazza Cavour/Kuerc
• Show of Dance on stage with the 5 rings curated by the kids of USB Aerobica
• from 8:00 PM | Live screening on the megascreen of the Opening Ceremony
• Throughout the evening, entertainment and activities.

The Olympic Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony of Milan Cortina 2026 will feature performances by internationally successful artists, including five-time Grammy Award winner Mariah Carey, Golden Globe winner Laura Pausini , and the famous Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, as well as the award-winning actor and producer Pierfrancesco Favino and the Emmy-nominated star of The White Lotus Sabrina Impacciatore.

The curtain rises on a new era for the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. 
The Opening Ceremony, produced by Balich Wonder Studio at the San Siro Stadium in Milan adds a new dimension to the grand global celebration. Not just the show within the facility named after football champion Giuseppe Meazza. On the same day, parties and symbolic moments will take place across the city and the Olympic territories.
The aim is clear: to spread the Olympic spirit beyond the stadium, making the audience, athletes, and everyone part of this great celebration.

The parade of delegations and the lighting of the Olympic cauldron will remain the highlights, but new initiatives will enhance participation and inclusivity directly in the competition areas.
