The legendary Stelvio slope in Bormio is the protagonist of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Olympics hosting, for the first time in history, the ski mountaineering races. Appointment on Thursday, February 19 with the men's and women's Sprint race and Saturday, February 21 with the Mixed Relay.
Bormio is among the ski resorts that have made history in alpine skiing but, for two years, it has also been a protagonist in ski mountaineering hosting, in 2024, a stage of the Junior World Cup and, in 2025, the Senior World Cup. To make the name of national ski mountaineering great, many athletes from Valtellina such as Robert Antonioli, Michele Boscacci, Nicolò Canclini, Katia Mascherona, Giulia Murada, Giulia Compagnoni! Who will be the first athletes in history to win the Olympic gold?
