Image

The legendary Stelvio slope of Bormio is the star of the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics hosting the men's alpine ski races. Today is the day for the Downhill Official Training!

Bormio is among the ski resorts that have made history in alpine skiing. The honor roll of the Stelvio slope has seen great champions of downhill skiing, from Americans Miller and Rahlves, to Austrians Maier, Walchhofer, Eberharter, Schifferer, and Strobl, to Swiss Defago, and Italians Innerhofer and Paris, the latter winning both the downhill and SuperG in 2017 and 2018.
After hosting the World Cup for over 30 years, 2 World Championships, for the first time, the slope will be the stage for the Winter Olympic Games!
Who will be the first jet man to win the Olympic gold?
