Bormio is among the ski resorts that have made history in alpine skiing but, for two years, it has also been a key player in ski mountaineering, hosting, in 2024, a stage of the junior World Cup and, in 2025, the senior World Cup.
Many athletes from Valtellina, such as Robert Antonioli, Michele Boscacci, Nicolò Canclini, Katia Mascherona, Giulia Murada, Giulia Compagnoni, contribute to the greatness of the national ski mountaineering name!
