Dungeons & Dragons
It is a fantasy role-playing game based on narration and set in worlds where swords and magic are part of everyday life. Created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, it was first published in January 1974 by Tactical Studies Rules (TSR), a company founded by Gygax, which later transformed into TSR Hobbies, which was acquired in 1997 by Wizards of the Coast.
