Exhibition of the brilliant creations of the Bormio inventor Aldo Peccedi.
Small mechanical models, the steam bicycle, contraptions full of curiosity and ingenuity often made using recycled or repurposed materials, as well as reproductions of old tools and machinery are on display at the Bormio exhibition.
Always driven by curiosity and ingenuity, Aldo Peccedi, once he reached retirement age, put his technical skills to use to design a wide variety of devices suited to the different needs of everyday life.
This includes the steam bicycle and the machine for making sciatt. Working clocks with ingenious systems, a precision scale, a model of an old mill and sawmill, the eco-friendly car, the lightweight bicycle and dozens of other works that earned him the title of the Leonardo of Bormio.
