The Munt La Schera Tunnel, 3.5 km long, is the main access route to Livigno for those coming from Trentino-Alto Adige, Veneto, the Swiss Engadine, and Northern Europe. Located at the Italian-Swiss border, it operates in an alternating one-way system and requires the payment of a toll.

Open every day 24 h - one-way traffic (max height 3.60 m - max width 2.55 m).

FAQ

• it is necessary to always carry a valid document for expatriation
• vehicles taller than 3.60 m are not permitted to pass through the tunnel
• the online ticket sales are limited to categories of vehicles up to 9 seats, motorcycles, and camper/trailers for one-way or round trip only. Tickets for all other categories of vehicles are not available for purchase online, but only at the Punt dal Gall toll booth.
• online purchase is strongly recommended and tickets are discounted. The ticket purchased online can be shown in paper form or in digital format from a mobile device (smartphone, tablet). To purchase, only the arrival period needs to be entered.
