In a delightful corner of the Valley of Fraele, in the Stelvio National Park, the Ristoro San Giacomo features a typical cuisine, and is open by request at all hours.
A point of departure for excursion on foot and by mountain bike.

GETTING THERE

  • From Bormio: Time by car 30 min | Leight 14 km (paying access during the summer season)
  • From Bormio: Walking time 3.00 h | Elevation gain 700 m
  • From Stelvio Pass via the Val Forcola: Walking time  5.00 h | Elevation gain 800 m
  • From Livigno via the Valle Alpisella trail: Walking time  3.00 h | Elevation gain 1100 m

The alpine hut is usually open from late May/early June to late October (dates subject to change depending on weather conditions).
