Located between the two dams of Cancano, in the heart of the Stelvio National Park, the Val Fraele refuge offers homemade cuisine and typical dishes from Valtellina. From the refuge, there is a splendid view over the entire valley and it is the ideal starting point for walks and mountain bike tours.

  • From the Monte Scale refuge: travel time 1.20 hours | length 5 km
  • From Livigno (through the Alpisella valley): travel time 4.00 hours | length 13 km
