Valdidentro is the ideal place for lovers of classical skiing.
The Pista Viola extends over a total route of 25 km with not particularly excessive elevation changes and with the possibility to choose the desired distance based on one's abilities through marked deviations. There is also the competitive track, with the adjoining shooting range, particularly renowned for hosting biathlon and cross-country races.
The starting point is located at the Ski Stadium in the area "Baita Noa", from where the various trails head towards Isolaccia and the location Le Motte, usable either as a single track or as separate paths.
At the Ski Stadium, there is also the Scuola Sci Fondo Alta Valtellina with an attached cross-country ski rental.
In summer, the ski-roll track is the ideal destination for high-altitude training for national and international teams.
