Valdidentro is the ideal place for fans of cross-country skiing.
The Viola trail extends over a total length of 25 km with not particularly excessive elevation changes and the option to choose the desired distance based on one's abilities through marked diversions. There is also the competitive trail, which includes an shooting range, particularly renowned for hosting biathlon and cross-country competitions.
The starting point is located at the Ski Stadium in the area "Baita Noa", from where the various trails lead towards Isolaccia and the area of Le Motte, usable both as a single track and as separate paths.
At the Ski Stadium, there is also the Scuola Sci Fondo Alta Valtellina with an attached cross-country ski rental.
In the summer, the ski-roll trail is the ideal destination for altitude training for national and international teams.
