A project that stems from a simple idea
We are Martina and Luca, our project is born from the desire to create a restaurant that represents us. A place to welcome with a smile and make people feel good, in front of a good dish and a glass of wine.
We wish to welcome you in a space where simplicity, care, and hospitality can be felt. We are connected to our land, to the mountains, to their rhythms and traditions, which is why we want to maintain an authentic, harmonious, and respectful bond with the territory that surrounds us.
We have chosen to define ourselves as an Alpine Osteria to revive the concept of a traditional village inn where genuineness could be felt and to enhance what the lands of the Alpine arc offer in their territoriality. A place that tells stories and traditions.
Our osteria, which we have renovated, once a stable and barn, is located in a historic house reconstructed in 1901 following a fire that affected the entire area. Today our place comes back to life, welcoming you in small vaulted rooms made of stone and larch wood that recall the agricultural tradition and the warmth of the 'stué' (rooms) of home.
Regional cuisine and gastronomic research
We like to think of our work as a gesture of hospitality: cooking for someone, with care, is our way of telling a territory. We carefully choose genuine ingredients, prioritizing where possible small producers and authentic realities that share with us respect for the land and ethical principles of work, production, and distribution.
This is where we start to create a menu that reflects the Valtellinese territory and the entire Alpine arc with a focus on the seasonality of the products. Alongside our cuisine, we offer a selected wine list that reflects our philosophy.
We propose culinary experiences that create synergies between maintaining tradition and evolving a cuisine that keeps up with the times. We believe in the link between attentive service and a quality gastronomic experience to make you feel pampered and happy.
