The high-altitude restaurant, at 2,700 m, of the Sunny Valley Kelo Mountain Lodge is a landmark for lovers of fine cuisine.
Thanks to the three dedicated areas (Bar, Restaurant-Steakhouse, Gourmet), it is possible to tell through different experiences how food is capable of representing emotions and evoking intimate memories.
Exquisite ingredients, appropriately paired, release aromas and flavors that add great emotional value to the dishes. The prestigious selection of wines offered complements the exclusivity of our refined high-altitude restaurant.
Restaurant / Steakhouse
Composed of two spacious rooms, one with a visible grill, in addition to ensuring an excellent selection of local and regional dishes, it features a significant proposal of meats cooked on wood grills, carefully selected from the best farms in the world. At the end of the cooking process, seasoning is done with whole pink Himalayan salt that enhances the flavor and juiciness. To fully appreciate each cut at its best, we suggest following the cooking times proposed by our chef.
Bar
Consisting of a large room with a fireplace capable of accommodating more than 100 people, the bar offers coffee, homemade sweet drinks, and delicious sandwiches made primarily with locally sourced ingredients. It is ideal for satisfying the taste buds of the more athletic who can't wait to return to the ski slopes.
Wine Cellar
The wine cellar, visible from the room, offers a glimpse of the prestigious selection of wines, from exclusive regional labels to Italian and international ones. The wine list, available to guests, guides them in their choice through the expertise and professionalism of the Sommelier, proposing a series of tastings, unique in their kind for the selection of fine labels and for the prestige of the wines offered. We have also contributed to developing the project “Adopt a vineyard in Valtellina,” from which we obtain the Sunny Valley DOCG. A wine made from Nebbiolo grapes cultivated in the Valgella area, its selected grapes are vinified especially for us.
Igloo
Imagine, after an intense and spectacular day of skiing, being able to experience perhaps the most awaited moment of After Ski in a completely unusual Bar: sipping a cocktail or a glass of wine in company, inside an Igloo. The classic dwelling of the Inuit People, transformed into a refined Bar where you can spend time and relax is right there, just a few meters from the Lodge. Even though it is made of snow, the details inside the Igloo are carefully curated and ready to amaze you. Just like the list, which is very varied and excellently structured. Our Bartenders will greet you with enthusiasm and will delight and surprise you with their proposals, served on a magnificent ice counter.
Gourmet Restaurant “Mountain Lodge”
Reserved for Lodge guests, it consists of a panoramic room with a view of the Ortler-Cevedale mountain range. Particularly well-furnished, it is the ideal place to take a break at any time of the day, from breakfast, to brunch, to dinner.
Gourmet dishes will satisfy even the most delicate palates. Privacy and relaxation just a step away from the sky.
How to reach Sunny Valley?
It can be reached both in winter and summer with the two segments of the S. Caterina-Vallalpe cable car.
In summer, it is also accessible by foot or on a mountain bike through various trails, including:

- From S. Caterina Valfurva (loc. Ponte dell'Alpe): walking time 1.5 hours | Elevation gain 368 m
- From Sondalo/Le Prese (Val di Rezzalo): biking time 4 hours | Elevation gain 1,551 m
